Motivated by her passion for entrepreneurship, she made the decision to return to college, aiming to complete her bachelor's degree in business management and entrepreneurship. Erica Clark is a remarkable individual who seamlessly blends her roles as a loving wife, devoted mother of four, and successful entrepreneur. With a strong background in business and early childhood development, she has made significant strides in her writing career. Inspired by the works of influential black authors like Nikki Giovanni and Langston Hughes, Erica has penned several books covering a diverse range of topics.
Her passion for writing is matched by her commitment to education, particularly in teaching children to read. Through her initiative, “Build Your Brand with a Book,” she empowers others to develop their brands while showcasing her expertise as a public speaker and published author.
Despite her many accomplishments, her greatest joy comes from her family—her children Keric, Kingston, Kolin, and Klarity, alongside her supportive husband, Sammy Clark IV. As the eldest sibling and a natural leader, Erica embodies the essence of a powerhouse woman, dedicated to her community and inspiring others through her multifaceted talents.

Koko Knows, LLC is a brand dedicated to children's literacy and early education, offering workbooks and learning resources tailored for kids aged 3 to 13. Our materials blend fun with educational content, suitable for both classroom and home environments.
Since the onset of COVID-19, which shifted many students to homeschooling, the already troubling decline in reading proficiency has worsened. Currently, over 70% of children in the U.S. struggle to read beyond a third-grade level, with some even graduating high school without adequate reading skills.
We take great pride in being part of the movement to enhance literacy and combat this pressing issue.

This remarkable individual has discovered a newfound passion for public speaking. After becoming a published author, Erica has traveled to various cities as a sought-after keynote speaker. She shares her journey from being a struggling single mother of three to becoming a business owner and wife, naming her brand after her fourth child and only daughter, Klarity “Koko” Clark.
Erica discusses how she invested in her dreams, creating not just a brand but also navigating the steps to trademark it, register it with the state, and market it using her personal knowledge and connections. Her empowering speeches have inspired men, women, and children to pursue their dreams and hold onto their beliefs until they manifest.

Through our programs and initiatives, we at Koko Knows & Koko Kares, aim to empower children with the tools they need to become confident and proficient readers. We provide tutoring, mentorship, and educational materials to help children improve their literacy skills and reach their full potential.
In addition to individual support, we also work with schools, libraries, and community organizations to promote literacy awareness and create a culture of reading within our communities. By collaborating with other stakeholders, we can make a greater impact and reach more children in need.
Ultimately, our goal is to break the cycle of illiteracy and provide all children with the opportunity to succeed academically and in life. We believe that by investing in the education and well-being of our children, we can create a brighter future for our communities and make a lasting impact on society as a whole.
